Slight caramel malt sweetness with a bit light bitter smell and some floral hoppiness
Dark cloudy amber with a large foamy head to start but dissipates to a light foamy head.
A heavy sweetness from the malt that balances out the big 99 IBU bitterness. There is some honey dew notes with the floral hops and some creamy orange.
A very creamy, smooth feel with light carbonation.
BBQ Ribs, carne asada and sharp cheddar
Very unique for this style and they did a nice job balancing the heavy IBU with a solid malty foundation. This is not a typical west coast Double IPA but a very nicely balanced beer.
