This IPA pours a bright golden yellow color with a lingering foamy white head. The aroma has a light maltiness with citrus as the main character and a slight melon in the background. The flavor has a caramel sweetness upfront that transitions fast to a strong bitterness and then finishes on a bitter cantaloupe presence. This has a medium body with moderate carbonation that brings it all together for very smooth a crisp IPA. Snake River did a good job with making this IPA. Although I don’t think it stands against the main players, it has great characteristics worth trying. It was a very big hop bomb that had almost no sweetness to balance it. If you are looking for a juicy IPA, this may not fit for you. Give it a shot, it’s worth checking out!
