This summer ale pours a dark golden amber with a large and foamy off-white head with good retention. The aroma has some blueberry and coriander as you would expect from the label, along with a crusty malt and a nice herbal presence. The flavor starts with a sweet blueberry and peach front that transitions to a crust and bread malt and then a dry earthy herbal character through the middle. It wraps up on a juicy blueberry finish that keeps you wanting to come back for more. This has a sort-of thick feel with a nice juiciness and average carbonation that brings together a nice fluffy texture. This summer ale is very drinkable and so enjoyable on a warm summer evening. New Holland brought in some big flavor for this ale, but it all balances out for a refreshing and smooth beer.
