This double brown pours very dark brown with almost no head. The aroma is big and bold with toasted malt, cinnamon sugar and maple, all tied together with a slight bit of vanilla. All you honestly can think about is... heck does this smell like a fresh batch of French toast?! The flavor follows close behind with toasted bread malt up front that moves to maple syrup that lends a helping hand all the way to the cinnamon sugar finish. This has a medium body with a nice creamy and syrup like texture. Overall, this one is so complex in its simplicity and ability to get such amazing flavors and stay so incredibly balanced. Also I forgot to mention - It's the perfect addition to any breakfast, so please don’t pass this one up.
