This imperial stout pours a creamy black color with a small tan head and decent retention. The aroma is rich with raisin, chocolate malt and slight burnt sugar smell. It is much like the aroma, and starts off with a raisin, nutty smell upfront that quickly leads to a toasted middle with hints molasses and a bitter finish. The whole thing is balanced very well, and this one is very complex in the simplest way. The mouthfeel is medium; also it’s very smooth and creamy from start to finish. Overall, it's a must try beer that I would highly recommend!
