This milk stout pours black with a nice tan foamy head with decent retention. The aroma is simple with peanut butter, chocolate and a lactose sweetness, but sets you up for perfect combination in the taste. The flavor starts with peanut butter right up front and lets up to a smooth and malty middle with some lactose sugar characteristics throughout. It finishes up on a bitter chocolate with a slight cinnamon spice. This is very creamy with a medium body and lighter carbonation. Belching Beaver did a great job bringing all of these flavors together to create a perfectly balanced stout. The creaminess and malt backbone create a great base, while the peanut butter and mexican chocolate bring in some bright flavor that set this one apart.
