There is an immediate sweetness with some fruity hops and bready malt character.
It pours a dark amber color with a large, bubbly tan head.
The biscuit and bready malt character dominates the taste and is followed by a berry-like sweetness that ends on a hoppy bitterness.
This is a medium body beer with decent carbonation. It’s lighter than expected with the higher overall sweetness.
Berry pie, Fruit salad appetizer and Well… of course a strawberry pop tart.
I love the creativity they have with this beer. They did a nice job bringing the sweet fruit, bready malt and hoppy bitterness into a very drinkable beer. The sweetness can be overwhelming, but you won’t be disappointed. Fun fact: This brewery site used to be an old pastry factory. I'm sure they used their history for some inspiration with this beer!
