This Gose pours a light yellow straw color with a large white head and decent retention. With this one you get a slight sweetness at first from the malt, and then it leads straight to a lemon sourness with hints of salt and pepper. The flavor is much like the aroma. It is almost like salt water with a sour lemon taste and hints of pepper. There is a nice lingering salt aftertaste and the tartness gets stronger as the beer warms. Overall, given the style, it’s a good take and a decent beer.
