An aroma of yeast, wheat and baked grains, with a slight note of citrus on the nose. This might sound crazy but it smells exactly like a sourdough turkey sandwich with mustard!
Pours a hazy golden yellow color with a large amount of bubbles. Has a slight head, with little to no retention and excellent clarity.
Much like the aroma, this beer has a wheat and earthy grass taste up front. Then it follows with a sour lemon juice character followed by a slight apple skin taste.
This beer is lightly carbonated with the appropriate amount. A very drinkable (sessionable) beer. Has the right amount of sour to carbonation ratio going on.
Grilled salmon, sourdough turkey sandwich with spicy mustard and blueberry cheesecake.
This is a good, well balanced and unique sour. It is very bready with a light sour taste. It has the perfect balance and is very sessionable. Overall, a decent one compared to others of this style. It’s very drinkable and must try.
3/5 **This is a rating among the sours we have tried, not all beers.**
