This Irish dry stout pours a very dark brown with a thin darker tan head with decent retention. This has a smoky dark malt nose with a nice bitter, chocolaty presence. The flavor is similar with a smoky roasted front that moves to a dry creamy taste then a roasted, slightly bitter finish. The flavor wasn’t as robust as the aroma indicated. The bitterness overpowered the flavor on this beer. Overall, this is a good beer and a must try this St. Patty’s day!
