A light hint of tropical fruits, pineapple, mango and apricots with a presence of bread malts on the nose.
A slightly hazy orange color with good clarity and a light foamy head with light retention.
Has a very light tropical taste while the alcohol is not well hidden. It finishes dry with an overly strong amount of bitterness that dominates.
Medium body with moderate carbonation. It is very smooth with a dry finish. Mouthfeel is where the beer shines.
BBQ pork, cuban sandwich, el pastor tacos.
This is an average IIPA. It is an overly bitter double IPA that lacks the sweet malt aspect. The alcohol is very overpowering and not well balanced for this style. Overall, not my favorite but decent; if you are into the very bitter beers, it’s a must try!
