A distinct but simple coffee aroma, with just a subtle hint of chocolate, and light wheat toast.
Dark brown to black with large, tan creamy head.
Very creamy coffee with light chocolate taste. The small amount of malt character gives off a light roasted flavor. This beer gives unfortunate watered down finish.
The body is medium to light and kind of creamy the first few sips, then it becomes more watery. The after taste is more coffee, chocolate. This beer lacks carbonation.
Triple layer chocolate cake, bacon burger, chocolate chip cookies.. heck anything chocolate!
This beer has a nice roasted coffee flavor. However, there is huge lacking malt backbone and body. Among coffee beers this is solid in taste factor, but still lacking as a porter. Overall I would have again for a light after dinner beer.
