This beer has a strong coffee and raspberry smell and a slight chocolate malty presence.
It pours dark with a light brown head that dissipates slowly.
It is much like the aroma. There is a mild chocolate taste with hints of raspberry.
This beer is medium in body with a medium amount of carbonation and a light finish.
BBQ steak, mashed potatoes, and chocolate covered fruit.
This is a decent take on the style considering it’s a fruit beer with Belgian yeast. Drinkability was decent as it was very smooth. They did a good job masking the large alcohol in this stout. Overall, it’s certainly worth a try if you see it!
