There is a bit of sweetness from the caramel malts. Also a slight presence of clove and sweet banana.
Pours a deep hazy amber orange with a very light head and no retention.
A mild sweetness upfront. Flavors are light and earthy with a slight orange, clover and pepper taste.
This beer had a decent amount of carbonation and good mouthfeel. Crisp and dry at the end.
Spicy sausage, pretzels and lemon bars.
This was a good take on the style. It was very well balanced. It has the earthy spice, good malt character and crisp mouthfeel. Overall this is a decent beer and an easy drinker.
