This IIPA pours a toasted orange color with a white head and decent retention. It starts off with a lot of pine and caramel upfront. Then it turns very herbal, with a hint of floral in the background and a mildly bitter finish. It is medium bodied and very crisp given the above average carbonation for this IPA. There is a good malt character, yet it’s never overly sweet in the taste. They did a good job to mask the alcohol and overall it’s an easy drinker that is very enjoyable.
