This DIPA pours a clear golden yellow color with a white head that leaves a nice small amount of lacing in the glass. It has a nice aroma of grapefruit with a hint of sweetness and pine resin. With the first taste it hits you with a pine resin front that is on your palate for each sip. The middle is very malty and there is a nice earthy grapefruit finish. It is medium bodied and has high carbonation with a smooth finish. Overall, this DIPA delivers a good malt backbone while balancing a solid citrus pine hop character that isn't overly bitter. It’s very well balanced and enjoyable! There is also a very nice presentation of various hop flavors that are complex and go very well together. I would definitely recommend this one! Get it while you can!
