This nut brown pours a deep dark brown with a small frothy tan head with decent retention. The aroma has vanilla and coconut dominating the senses with some chocolate and malt in the background and a small hint of an earthy oak wood. The flavor kicks off with a coconut front that rounds out with a toasted malt then continues with a light chocolate through the middle and wraps up with coconut and vanilla to really bring out that macaroon character. This has a lighter body with medium carbonation. It has some excellent added flavor that really compliments the malt base very well. Aztec picked an interesting malt bill and it really payed off to bring out the toast and nut character. This a one-of-a-kind nut brown that will not disappoint.
