A slight fruitiness with hints of grapefruit, pine and sweet malt.
A bright golden yellow. Nice amount of carbonation forms with decent retention and clarity.
Taste of hops upfront has a presence of grapefruit, earth, and lemon. The hop character doesn't last to long, as it quickly fades to a sweet malty character.
This beer had decent amount of carbonation and good mouthfeel with light body.
BBQ ribs, fajitas, and carrot cake.
Any time you see a SIPA, it's a must try. This one was no different. The hopes were high after having a few good brews from this brewery. This one did not deliver as expected. The big thing is that the hops are not as prominent as expected for the style. The sweet malty character is overwhelming in comparison. I was expecting something to make them different from the rest, possibly a uniquely dry hopped light IPA. This one stands weak in comparison to others of this style. This would be refreshing for a hot day, but not a favorite.
