This DIPA pours a dark hazy amber color with a white head that dissipates at a nice pace, and leaves a nice small amount of lacing in the glass. This one has a crazy amount of sediment, more than any other beer I’ve seen! It has a nice aroma of juicy tropical fruits such as grapefruit and cantaloupe with a hint of pine. With the first taste it hits you with a floral front with citrus which moves to a very juicy biscuit malt background. It has a nice cantaloupe bitter finish that isn’t overpowering. It is heavy bodied and high carbonation with a smooth oily finish. Overall, this DIPA delivers a good malt backbone, while balancing a wonderful hop character that isn't overly bitter. Given they only used one hop this one is very balanced and highly enjoyable! I would definitely recommend this one!
