This coffee cream ale pours a deep rich amber with a thick creamy tan head with decent retention. The aroma is dominant in coffee with a deep pale malt in the background and a hint of yeast. The flavor starts with a watery yeast character that moves to a creamy vienna malt middle to finish on cold brewed coffee. This has a very pleasant creaminess making this very smooth and drinkable. The coffee is a very nice addition to a cream ale to add more character, but on this one, the coffee could be a bit more bold. If you find this, definitely give it a try, this is an excellent take on the style.
