This porter pours a dark mahogany brown with a creamy tan head with little retention. The aroma has a nice obvious coconut character with some caramel and roasted malts and slight bitterness. The flavor has sweet coconut upfront with a caramel and roasted malt middle that is balanced by an earthy bitter finish. The mouthfeel is an interesting combination of creamy and foamy that is very pleasant. This coconut porter is a very nice brew that I definitely recommend.
