This ale pours a bright golden orange with some haziness and a small white head. The aroma is has some very nice character with some honey, berry and a crusty malt. The flavor has a sweet floral and berry presence up front with a balanced crust and toast malt through the middle. That follows through to a light lingering bitterness with a blueberry and raspberry finish. They really did some cool stuff with the hops on this ale, you don’t get those notes everyday. This is very easy drinking and with a light body and lower carbonation. This is really a perfectly balanced beer that I didn’t want to put down. I really enjoy that berry characteristic that gets overlooked so much of the time. This is definitely at the top of the list for this summer!
