This summer ale pours a dark golden straw color with a large and foamy off-white head with good retention. The aroma has a strong tangerine/grapefruit presence with a grassy bready malt in the background. The flavor starts with a light citrus that leads to a light bready malt and transitions to a grapefruit floral middle. It wraps up on a dry, grapefruit rind finish that keeps you wanting to come back for more. This has a nice refreshing light and crisp feel to it. Overall, this summer ale is highly drinkable! One of the best showcases of Amarillo hops in a glass to date. It’s very smooth and balanced for being brewed with just one hop and one malt. I would highly recommend having this in your hand this summer!
