San Diego, CA
ABV: 6.9%
IBU: 77
Aroma-
A very grassy and earthy taste. With a hint of wood, grapefruit and slight banana.
Clear golden yellow with a thin head of foam.
Flavor-
Flavor is dominated by a peppery spice taste. Also some tropical grapefruit, all meshed with Belgian yeast.
Mouthfeel-
Medium body with a good amount of dryness that last into the aftertaste, which is from the Belgian yeast.
Food pairings-
Ham and cheese, asparagus, and roasted lemon rosemary chicken.
Overall Impression-
I think it is a solid beer from Stone. The bread-like malt is powerful and compliments the fruitiness of the hops.
Rating-
7/10 👍
