A bit of biscuit malt and molasses but is overpowered by the pumpkin and spices.
Pours very dark chocolate, just short of black with a bright tan head that dissipates fast.
The pumpkin is the first big flavor you get with a bit of dry spice. After that you pick up some roasted and biscuit malt that is very nice, but the spice and bitterness overpowers it at the finish.
This has a crisp almost dry mouthfeel with a light amount of carbonation.
Pumpkin pie, Sweet Potatoes and Turkey
This beer is a bold take on pumpkin. They put a healthy amount of spices to give the overall flavor and aroma a strong impression of pumpkin and other spices. I would have liked to see the malt character a bit stronger with a little less bitterness from the spices. If you like a big punch of flavor then you will like this beer. Definitely has Fall written all over it.
